The PNEDC was formed over 48 years ago with a goal of forging stronger economic development relations in the Pacific Northwest, providing a forum for networking and training within the field of economic development. The Council is a Regional Economic Development Organization encompassing the entire Pacific Northwest Region including the States of Hawaii, Washington, Montana, Oregon, Alaska, Idaho and the Provinces of Alberta, British Columbia and the Yukon.

2009 PNEDC Conference Bid Presentations 

2009 will mark PNEDC’s 50th year.  Conference Bid presentations are invited from U.S. communities wishing to host next year’s conference.  Presentations will be heard at this year’s conference gala dinner in Nanaimo, BC on July 22.  Next year’s location will be announced by the Board July 23 at the conclusion of the conference.
