Professional executive position responsible for economic development program and related activities for the Sturgis, SD area (population 9,274).  Sturgis is the county seat of Meade County (population 26,000), located in the beautiful Black Hills National Forest on Interstate 90, 25 miles west of Rapid City, SD (population 120,000).

Ideal candidate will be energetic, results-oriented, and able to develop productive relationships and close projects. 

College degree in related field and five (5) years of successful experience desired.  EDFP, EDI or CED certifications preferred but not necessary for candidates with successful track record.

Starting salary will be $50k to $70k (+/- DOQ) with excellent benefits.
